Canada celebrates its 150 anniversary!

Canada celebrated its 150th anniversary across the country on Saturday! “Let’s not kid ourselves. Today is not really our 150th birthday. We’re much older than that. Canada and the idea of Canada goes much further back than 150 years," Prime Minister Trudeau said at the Canada Day show. Trudeau took a moment to remember Canada's indigenous people, whom he said faced opression when the first settlers arrived. The celebrations included performances by Canadian artists, acrobats, and even fireworks.
