At the Sagrada Família in Barcelona, Spain, visitors can see history being built. It was designed by architect Antonin Gaudí and remains unfinished, even though construction began in 1883. It’s expected to be completed in 2026 — 143 years after construction started. Upon the completion of the cathedral it’s expected to be the tallest religious construction in Europe.
