Mohanlal Bags Manorama News Federal Bank Award - 2016 for being an Influencer

Malayalam superstar Mohanlal has won the Manorama News-Federal Bank Newsmaker 2016 award. The award.The award, which is given annually to a person from Kerala who has hogged the headlines most frequently, and brought about in a positive change in the society, was announced by writer M. Mukundan onon Sunday.
"Mohanlal is an actor who can influence the masses," Mukundan said while announcing the winner.
Meanwhile, Mohanlal said he was proud to receive the award. "I see this as a reward for my 38-year long career as an actor," he added.
