Scientists are creating insect-based foods to address food shortages [Mic Archives]

Scientists at Wroclaw University of Environmental and LIfe Sciences in Poland are creating food with insects in an attempt to solve world food shortages. According to the Food and Agriculture Organization, the world’s population will grow by 34% by 2050. This means the planet requires a 70% increase in food production. And according to these scientists, insects may be the answer.
