A Trump-branded hotel in Canada will soon be losing its affiliation with the U.S. president.

A Trump-branded hotel in Canada will soon be losing its affiliation with the U.S. president, reports the Huffington Post.
The Trump International Hotel and Tower Toronto is reportedly set to be renamed entirely after JCF Capital was able to purchase the property and buy out other agreements attached with it, notes CBC News.
Some of these contracts were with the Trump Organization which never owned the building but was involved in its branding and management.
According to the Toronto Star, insiders have suggested that the property could become a St. Regis location--a name which is overseen by Marriott International.
The media outlet has said these changes may be a way to distance the building from the construction-related problems and political protests it has experienced in the past.
