20 Animals Rescued From Iowa Home After Woman Allegedly Tried to Perform Surgery on Puppy

Police say Sarah McMenamin admitted to cutting open her living dog with a paring knife and tongs in order to retrieve a bowel obstruction. The 20 animals taken from the home are now living in a local animal shelter.
