Car bomb kills Ukrainian military intelligence officer in Kiev

A colonel in Ukraine's military intelligence service was killed in a car bomb in Kiev on June 27, the country's Defence Ministry said, describing the incident as a "terrorist act."Police said an explosive device in the vehicle blew up at 8.16am local time while the car was moving, killing the driver and wounding a passerby. The deceased man was reportedly named as Colonel Maksim Shapoval.
