RBI says, if gold kept in safe lockers are stolen, banks are not responsible

If things which are in safe lockers of any banks stolen, the concerned bank is neither responsible nor it give any compensation for the things lost, Reserve Bank of India clarifies while replying to an RTI application.
ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಲಾಕರ್ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟ ವಸ್ತುಗಳು ಕಾಣೆಯಾದರೆ ಅಥವಾ ಕಳುವಾದರೆ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಯಾವುದೇ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಭಾರತೀಯ ರಿಸರ್ವ್ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ (ಆರ್ ಬಿಐ) ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಿದೆ.
