Afghanistan's senior cricketer Mohammad Nabi says that the team is really happy to get Test status from ICC and would like to face India in their first off match. Afghanistan and Ireland were inducted as full members by the ICC earlier, which means that the two nations have been granted Test status as the 11th and 12th nations respectively.
