Hillary Clinton On Health Care Proposal: 'If Republicans Pass This Bill, They're The Death Party'

Hillary Clinton slammed the Senate health care proposal in a tweet on Friday.

Hillary Clinton has blasted the Senate's health care proposal which was made public on Thursday.
She tweeted on Friday, “Forget death panels. If Republicans pass this bill, they're the death party.”
Her message was a response to an analysis conducted by researchers with the Center for American Progress and Harvard University, which found that the “bill could result in 18,000 to 28,000 deaths in 2026.”
Clinton isn’t the only high-profile Democrat to speak out about the Senate’s attempt to overhaul the current health care law; former President Obama wrote on Facebook Thursday that the GOP bill would “raise costs, reduce coverage, roll back protections, and ruin Medicaid as we know it.”
He went on to deny that the proposal was about health care, instead calling it “a massive transfer of wealth from middle-class and poor families to the richest people in America.”
President Trump, on the other hand, expressed enthusiasm for the GOP effort, tweeting, “I am very supportive of the Senate #HealthcareBill. Look forward to making it really special! Remember, ObamaCare is dead.”
Despite the praise, there are doubts about whether the legislation can pass in its current form as five GOP senators have already declared their opposition.
