Prince Philip was admitted to a hospital after he contracted an infection, the Buckingham Palace said. Philip, who is also known as the Duke of Edinburgh, will not be able to attend to the Queen's speech due to illness. The infection is due to a pre-existing health condition, the Palace confirmed. The Queen is scheduled to present the government's legislative agenda in a speech on Wednesday.
