In a shocking incident, six police officers were injured in Leicester India and Pakistan fans clashed with each other after the Champions Trophy. Pakistan defeated India by 180 runs at the Oval in London after India failed badly in trying to chase down their target.Bottles were thrown and roads had to be closed off as fans of the two teams clashed in Belgrave Road and Melton Road in Leicester. Simon Cole, chief constable of Leicestershire Police, confirmed that six officers were injured in the disorder.
