Snapchat is about to add a lot more TV shows

Time Warner announced today that it signed a two-year deal with Snapchat worth $100 million and plans to bring TV shows and advertising to the app. HBO, Warner Bros. and Turner's cable channels all fall under the Time Warner umbrella, which plans to create at least 10 original shows. Time Warner is just the latest to sign with Snapchat, with other networks like NBC, ABC, CBS, and ESPN have all signed on to make shows as well. Many companies are interested in consistently reaching the younger demographic, which comprises most of Snapchat's users. "Partnering with Snap will help drive this compelling new format, exposing its user base to innovative and engaging video from brands and characters they trust and enjoy,"
