According to Bloomberg, Bezos increased his net worth by $1.8 billion thanks to the Whole Foods deal. While the title of richest man still goes to Bill Gates, he plans on giving away most of his fortune. Gates created the "Giving Pledge," which calls in billionaires to give away at least half of their funds.
