Michael Phelps has proven time and time again that he is one of the fastest humans to ever enter the water. In fact, Phelps is so good that he got bored of racing other humans. Instead, Phelps is turning his eyes to the sea, specifically the great white shark. Phelps is teaming up with Discovery Channel to race against a great white shark for a Shark Week special. The race will be tight, as the fastest Phelps has even been clocked is 6 mph and great white sharks are known to cruise at around 5 mph, according to Jennifer Kennedy at ThoughtCo.com Shark Week starts July 23 but Phelps seems to analyzing his competition already.
