Car Hits Drone Mid-Air During Rally Sardegna

Former Finnish rally champion Esapekka Lappi had a near miss with a drone while racing in Sardinia, Italy, on Saturday, June 10.A video shared to YouTube by Remy Nice shows Lappi attempting to master Micky’s Jump — one of the most popular parts of the race. Lappi is seen knocking into a drone as he lands his car on the other side of the hill.Lappi was taking part in the Rally Sardegna – the seventh stage of the World Rally Championships.Nice’s video had received 44,500 views at the time of writing.
