Diamond Ring Purchased For $13 Sells For About $848K

Back in the 1980s, a woman purchased what she thought was a big, fake gemstone ring at a car boot sale. On Wednesday, the ring sold for the equivalent of about $848,000, nearly double the original top estimate.
