In 2005, Hurricane Katrina devastated the United States. During that time, FEMA was criticized for its lack of planning and assistance in New Orleans. Now, with hurricane season starting, Congress has yet to confirm President Trump’s choice for head of FEMA, which could equal disaster if another Katrina-size hurricane were to make landfall.
