It'll soon be easier to fix your cracked iPhone screen

Hate those long waits at the Apple Store? Do you have a cracked iPhone screen that needs fixing? Things may change soon. That's because by the end of 2017, Apple plans to put its proprietary machines for mending cracked iPhone glass in about 400 authorized third-party repair centers in 25 countries, company executives told Reuters. Best Buy is one retailer chosen by Apple to receive said machines as the Cupertino-based tech giant frees up the design it once held so tightly. The decision by Apple comes at a time when hoping to gain access to the tightly-controlled repair networks built by smartphone companies.
