Kellyanne Conway Says Media 'Obsessed' With Trump's Tweets

Kellyanne Conway has slammed the media for being "obsessed" with Trump's tweets.

No Twitter account is probably followed more closely worldwide than that of President Trump since that's where he seems to first share his thoughts on policies and other issues.
However, White House counselor Kellyanne Conway stated in a recent interview that the media is paying too much attention to Trump's tweets.
She said during an appearance on NBC's 'Today' show that there is "this obsession with covering everything he says on Twitter and very little of what he does as president."
Craig Melvin, the show's co-host, pushed back saying Twitter appears to be Trump's preferred tool for communicating with the American people and that he hasn't given an interview in weeks.
In the past several days, since the London attack, Trump's tweets have been focused on pushing his travel ban proposal.
Hours after the attack, the president tweeted, "We need to be smart, vigilant and tough. We need the courts to give us back our rights. We need the Travel Ban as an extra level of safety!"
Trump continued on Monday, tweeting, "People, the lawyers and the courts can call it whatever they want, but I am calling it what we need and what it is, a TRAVEL BAN!" and "The Justice Dept. should have stayed with the original Travel Ban, not the watered down, politically correct version they submitted to [Supreme court]."
Trump has suggested in the past, if it weren't for Twitter, he might not have won the presidency.
