Conway Doesn't Answer Whether Trump Thinks Global Warming Is A Hoax

Kellyanne Conway didn't answer the question about President Trump's view on global warming in an ABC interview.

Back in 2012, Donald Trump tweeted, "The concept of global warming was created by and for the Chinese in order to make U.S. manufacturing non-competitive."
That tweet may provide a window into part of the rationale for President Trump to withdraw from the Paris climate accord.
On ABC's Good Morning America, George Stephanopoulos asked White House counselor Kellyanne Conway Friday if the president still believes global warming is a hoax.
Conway didn't answer the question; instead, she responded, in part, "The president believes in a clean environment, clean air, clean water. He has received awards as a businessman in that regard, and he made very clear yesterday what he doesn't believe, which is that the U.S. government should stay in an agreement that gives us too much of the financial burden ..."
Stephanopoulos asked her again and got a similar response.
He posed the same question one more time and then Conway said, "You should ask him that."
Recently, Vox consolidated a list of dozens of tweets posted by Trump in the past years on climate change skepticism.
In March 2013, Trump wrote, "It’s snowing & freezing in NYC. What the hell ever happened to global warming?"
Then in January 2014, he posted, "Record snowfall & freezing temps throughout the country. Where is Global Warming when you need it?!"
Days later, another tweet read, "NBC News just called it the great freeze - coldest weather in years. Is our country still spending money on the GLOBAL WARMING HOAX?"
