Trump Launches Fresh Twitter Attack On 'Fake News' Media

President Trump posted a series of tweets Sunday slamming the media.

During President Trump's recent foreign trip, there was relative calm when it came to his tweets. His trip has ended and the president's Twitter account is buzzing with activity again.
Trump posted a series of tweets Sunday morning taking aim at various media sources.
The first one on the topic read, "It is my opinion that many of the leaks coming out of the White House are fabricated lies made up by the #FakeNews media."
Another said, "Whenever you see the words 'sources say' in the fake news media, and they don't mention names...."
Trump continued, "....it is very possible that those sources don't exist but are made up by fake news writers. #FakeNews is the enemy!"
While the president didn't specify the stories that prompted these tweets, the Washington Post broke a major story on Friday concerning White House senior adviser Jared Kushner and Russia.
The Post noted, "Kushner and Russia’s ambassador to Washington discussed the possibility of setting up a secret and secure communications channel between Trump’s transition team and the Kremlin, using Russian diplomatic facilities in an apparent move to shield their pre-inauguration discussions from monitoring, according to U.S. officials briefed on intelligence reports.”
Trump did post a positive tweet as well on Sunday, writing, "Just returned from Europe. Trip was a great success for America. Hard work but big results!"
