Southern rock star Gregg Allman dies at 69

Gregg Allman, the musician who formed Southern rock, died at 69 on Saturday afternoon. According to his rep, Allman passed away peacefully at his home in Savannah, Georgia. Allman is best known for his founding and performing in the Allman Brothers Band, alongside his brother Duane Allman. Although the cause of death was not revealed, it is known Allman suffered form chronic liver issues.
