Jet owned by Elvis auctioned off after 35 years

A private jet that was once owned by Elvis Presley has been officially auctioned off! The jet, which has been sitting on a runway in New Mexico for the last 35 years, was sold for $430,000. Elvis designed the interior of the jet, featuring gold-tone woodwork, red velvet seats, and a red shag carpet, according to the auction house. The 1963 Lockheed Jetstar is missing an engine and needs the cockpit to be restored.
