The Bustle editor wields that term as much as possible, as in, “I’m the fattest I’ve ever been, but I’m also the prettiest I’ve ever been.” Marie went from hiding her figure in baggy jeans and one-pieces to showing it off in body-con dresses and bikinis. Now, she's on a mission to take the word "fat" from its “treacherous connotations” to pure empowerment.
