Ben & Jerry's Bans Same-Flavor Scoops To Push For Same Sex Marriage in Australia
  • 7 years ago
Ben & Jerry’s has stopped serving two scoops of the same-flavoured ice-cream in one cone until Australia legalizes same-sex marriage. As part of its work on the Equality Campaign, the American-based ice-cream company on May 24 asked its patrons to write to Australian parliamentarians to demand the Marriage Act allow for gay marriage. As part of the campaign, Ben & Jerry’s has elected to stop double servings of the same flavour.
