Bears sign ex-Giant Victor Cruz to one-year deal

Former New York Giants receiver Victor Cruz has a new home after a long, drawn-out free agency period. The Chicago Bears have picked up the veteran wideout on a one-year deal, which was confirmed by Cruz on Instagram. Cruz, 30, went undrafted out of UMass and was a key cog on the Giants' Super Bowl XLVI-winning team in 2011. Knee issues, the drafting of Sterling Sheppard and a large cap number made him expendable. The New Jersey native told The Breakfast Club Tuesday that he felt the Giants sabotaged his production in 2016 to avoid paying incentives in 2017.
