Jones, a 'Saturday Night Live' cast member, was picked to be the host of this year's BET Awards. “I am so excited to be hosting The BET Awards this year. BET was the first network and place where I was on TV — I am looking to turn this whole experience into a joyful homecoming.” The comedian has been in the public eye the last year following her starring role in the 'Ghostbusters' reboot in addition to being the victim of online harassment.
