This is Okja. The 50 million dollar Netflix film that world premiered at the Cannes Film Festival to rave reviews.
It looks like pretty good time… centered around this young girl fighting to save her best friend and bring her back home… Plus it has Paul Dano, so that’s always a plus.
The movie apparently blends genres of humor, poignancy, and drama… in addition to a pretty awesome rendering of a lovable hippo, we’re gonna keep our eyes on it come award season. And you should too.
The film is available to stream on Netflix starting on June 28th.

The Academy Award winning actress is playing Lara Croft in the highly anticipated remake set to debut in 2018. The movie is based off the 2013 reboot of the video game series and marks the second time an Oscar winner will be playing the English archaeologist.
Look at this – new pictures from the set of Star Wars in Fawley Power Station, Southampton… and we don’t exactly know what they’re up to, but this is the origin story of Han Solo. Rumor has it the working title is Red Cup, and these GV’s show the cast and crew doing some explosive work.
