All PAF forward airbases declared operational in response to Indian threat

ISLAMABAD: All forward airbases of Pakistan Air Forces (PAF) have been declared operational on Wednesday in response to recent Indian threats, ARY News reported.

This was announced during a visit of Pakistan Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman to Forward Airbases at Siachen where PAF demonstrated its war expertise and preparedness during its drills.

Air Chief Marshal Aman also taken part in PAF exercises and reportedly flown a Mirage Jet Fighter himself.

The exercises were conducted in the wake of recent Indian threats when its Air Chief had ordered all the officers to remain prepared for action at a short notice.

Earlier, the Indian media reported that the chief of Indian Air Force (IAF) through letter to each IAF officer has asked them to be ready for operation at a very short notice.

Yesterday, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), in a statement, had rubbished an Indian claim that its forces destroyed a Pakistani post along the Line of Control (LoC) in Nowshera Sector by releasing a video to prove that it was Indian army which suffered humiliation.

Indian Army claimed of destroying a Pakistan Army posts in Nowshera sector. The claim was rejected by Pakistan Army through its media wing – ISPR – yesterday.
