Synopsis : Jacques, un français de soixante-dix ans, vit reclus chez lui avec pour seul contact son aide ménagère, Mathilde. Toutefois, la venue inattendue d’un immigré d’origine syrienne, Amin, va bouleverser son quotidien.
Synopsis in English: Jacques, a seventy years old Frenchman, lives secluded at home only with his housekeeper, Mathilde. However, the unexpected arrival of a Syrian immigrant, Amin, will upset his daily life.

Biographie du réalisateur : Né à Argenteuil le 14 novembre 1990, Thomas Perin se dirige d’abord vers une License de philosophie à Panthéon-Sorbonne (Paris 1) avant de revenir à sa passion première : le cinéma, en intégrant l’Institut International de l’Image et du Son (3iS) en 2014. Au terme de sa formation et en participant à la création et l’écriture de plusieurs court-métrages étudiant, il écrit et réalise son film de fin d’étude « Jacques et Amin ».
Director's biography: Born in Argenteuil on November 14, 1990, Thomas Perin went at Panthéon-Sorbonne (Paris 1) for a philosophy license before returning to his first passion : Moviemaking, integrating the International Institute of Image and Sound (3iS) in 2014. At the end of his formation and by participating in the creation and writing of several short films, he wrote and directed his end of study film « Jacques et Amin ».
