Gennady Golovkin Honored In Washington in camp for WADE EsNews Boxing

ashington, DC – As Middleweight Champion Gennady Golovkin prepares to defend his title on April 23rd, he’s entering a whole new ring. On Thursday, March 31st at the Kazakhstan Embassy in Washington, DC, Golovkin was named Ambassador to Astana EXPO-2017, which takes place in Kazakhstan’s capital city of Astana in 2017. As a native Kazakhstani, Golovkin is dedicated to spreading the word about the need to reduce CO2 emissions, to live more energy efficiently, and to provide energy for all.

As part of this exclusive B-Roll feed, you’ll see Golovkin accepting his Ambassadorship from inside the Kazakhstan Embassy, along with general event video to accompany storylines.
