Teaching Trojan: Coleman Leads Troy On and Off the Court

Sun Belt RISE Program member Amy Austin, a senior at Troy University, talked to women's basketball senior Kourtney Coleman about the transformation of the Troy team in her four years on campus and her plans after she graduates. Coleman has helped lead the Trojans into the top four of the Sun Belt standings as the Trojans boast the league's top offense.
Amy Austin is a senior majoring in broadcast journalism at Troy University. Her minor is communication studies. She has worked as a reporter for Troy University Television since August 2013.
The Sun Belt Conference RISE Program is a partnership between the Sun Belt Conference and its 13 member institutions that gives one student on each campus the unique opportunity to act as a standalone digital media correspondent for the conference office. Each student aspires to have a career in digital media and has worked closely with Sun Belt Conference staff in developing each of their stories to tell the stories of student-athletes in a unique, intriguing and most importantly honest way.
