Lexie Elkins, Community Coffee Student-Athlete of the Week, 2-16

It was quite the opening weekend for UL Lafayette catcher Lexie Elkins as the Ragin' Cajuns began the 2016 with a perfect 5-0 record. The senior slugger sent five balls out of the park while collecting 14 RBI en route to being selected as the Week 1 USA Softball Collegiate National Player of the Week, as well as the Sun Belt Conference Softball Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by Community Coffee.
