The dynamic blueprint, that is Queen Latifah, has mastered the art of becoming a successful female MC, owning a business, winning awards for her acting roles, and even hone in on an innovative talk show — and stopped by Sway in the Morning to talk about it.
Where was the point, in which Queen turned from rapper to business woman?
"That was from the beginning." She tells Sway. "There was no turning point. I knew I had to do, it was something I was doing in regular life."
Latifah started rapping at 17, and grew her empire from there.
What's next for this go-getter? "a lot of film projects, the talk show, & family," she tells us.
