America Ferrera Speaks on Civil Rights Leader Cesar Chavez & Why Latinos Should Support The Film

Strong, independent and hardworking woman, America Ferrera stopped by Sway in the Morning and talked to us about the inspiring story of Civil Rights leader, Cesar Chavez, and the movie behind it.

America also happens to be starring in the upcoming film, that hits theaters on March 28, and explains the importance of Latinos, Blacks and other minorities to support this movie and how it will help open doors for further movies like this to be made.

Having Latino parents, America explains how her parents urged her to head in the path of a doctor or lawyer -- but she proudly expresses that she graduated from USC last year with her degree.
