While speaking at the Variety and Kering's Women In Motion talk in Cannes, Robin Wright, who plays Claire Underwood in ‘House of Cards,’ commented on the Trump presidency.

It wasn’t long ago that the political landscape depicted in the Netflix series ‘House of Cards’ was considered to lean overly dramatic.
According to Robin Wright, the actress who plays Claire Underwood, wife of President Frank Underwood, reality appears to have caught up with, perhaps even pulled ahead of, fiction.
While speaking at the Variety and Kering's Women In Motion talk in Cannes, Wright said, “[Trump has] stolen all of our ideas for season six.”
Fear not, there’s still plenty of time for the show to come up with countless new shocking acts for the Underwoods to commit.
Season 5 has yet to air and will debut on May 30, notes CNN.
Wright didn’t give specifics about what particular turmoil Claire and Frank will create this time around, but she did note that she again served as the director of an episode.
