After the NBA draft lottery last night, Boston, Los Angeles and Philadelphia are all partying this morning while New York and Phoenix are hanging their heads. The Boston Celtics won the first overall pick in the 2017 draft thanks to a trade made with the Brooklyn Nets four years ago. The Los Angeles Lakers and the Philadelphia 76ers round out the top three, getting the second and third pick respectively. The Celtics had the best chance at getting the first overall pick while the Phoenix Suns had the second best chance but ended up with the fourth pick. The New York Knicks also got a tough draw, landing the eighth pick despite being tied for the sixth-worst record in the NBA.
