by Jonathan SangerA Latvian base jumper just dropped from a drone. Drone company Aerones created a powerhouse drone that can lift up to 440 pounds. To show it off, a base jumper leapt from the drone when it was nearly 1,100 feet in the air, the first time anyone has performed such a feat. Aerones is pursuing more than just stunts — the company wants to develop drones for sports as well as firefighting and life-saving.
