'American Idol' champ Kelly Clarkson to join 'The Voice' as coach

Season-one “American Idol” champion Kelly Clarkson will join NBC's The Voice as coach for season 14. “I can’t wait to turn my chair and see the faces of up-and-coming artists and provide them with the help and support they’ve needed to break into the industry. Watch out Shelton, I’m comin’ to win!!” she said. Clarkson will join longtime coaches Blake Shelton and Adam Levine. A fourth judge will be named at a later date. Earlier this week, it was rumored that Clarkson would be one of the judges for a 2018 reboot of American Idol.
