During his opening speech at the party’s 71st anniversary Umno president Najib Abdul Razak showed excitement with the turnout at the stadium.

While addressing the 80,000 supporters in red flooding the Bukit Jalil national stadium to put on a show of strength he said he was confident as he was not alone and had the backing of the Umno leaders around him.
