Chances are someone in your home, school or work place has one of those fidget spinners. They're practically taking over the world! Fidget spinners have captured the attention of those young and old creating a huge impact on the business side of things for retailers. In early May, Business Insider reported that fidget spinners and cubes make up a whopping 46 out of 50 of the top-selling toys on Amazon. Manhattan-based Almar Sales Co. sold an astounding 20 million fidget toys to Walmart, Toys ’R’ Us, Party City and others in April alone. The toys, which come in plastic, brass, steel or copper, retail mostly for $5 to $7 and were originally meant to help people cope with ADHD and anxiety issues. However, they have since exploded in popularity with YouTubers posting videos about tricks.
