Everybody loves the Rock, right?
Of course they do, so it would be a no brainer to have his endorsement if you’re running for the president of the United States.
But that didn’t happen.
The action star opened up during an interview with GQ magazine and he revealed why he didn’t endorse and candidate during the 2016 election.
He said both the Clinton and Trump camps reached out to him and asked for his endorsement, but he turned them down because he feels like he’s in a position now where his word carries a lot of weight and influence.
The thing is, he feels it would also open up a can of worms.
Johnson said that it would either make people unhappy with the thought of whatever his political view was, and it also might sway an opinion, which he didn’t want to do.
For what it’s worth to you, Johnson did say that he would like to see better leadership from President Trump.
