How To Invest and Retire for Long Term Financial Freedom, Happiness and Efficiency!

Having an efficiency structured investment portfolio that matches your comfort levels with risk, experience with investing and financial goals is so important, especially if you want your portfolio to provide you with long term passive income that can keep up (or even exceed) the increasing cost of living (AKA inflation).

When investing for the long run, having some growth asset classes blended in your portfolio can help the efficiency of your portfolio over time (10 years +) and can help get your money working harder for you.

Growth assets are typically more (much more) volatile in the short to medium term, but historically have provided superior returns over the long run when compared to more conservative asset classes, like cash and fixed interest.

You can see this index chart provided by Vanguard to show the returns of different asset classes over the last 30 years here

Please note that I am NOT recommending what asset classes that you need to or should invest in but simply educating you so that you are aware what options exist and what suits you and your needs and goals.

The bigger return you expect, the bigger risk you normally need to be prepared to accept. I will be doing more videos like this but in the meantime, make sure that you subscribe so that every Monday you can build your financial knowledge, empowerment and inspiration.
