Rajnath Singh says NDA wants India to be Beef free

Union home minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday, upheld the idea of banning cow slaughter and assured seers at a Jain religious conclave in Indore of hammering out a consensus to bring a bill in parliament to enforce the ban across India. Singh said BJP-ruled states like Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh have already enacted a law against cow slaughter and now BJP government in Maharashtra enacted a similar law.
