Dog with prosthetic limbs learns how to walk on four legs again

Heartwarming footage of a dog being trained to use his prosthetic limbs after, it's thought, his mother clawed his rear paws off when he was a young puppy.

The video, filmed in Livermore, California, USA on April 25, shows three-year-old Panda learning to use his new rear legs.

The filmer told Panda's story online, writing: "I rescued him at the age of 16 weeks as he had a tough time finding a family because he was missing his two rear paws.

"He needed a family to keep a very close eye on him and to get him prosthetics so he can learn to walk on all four legs.

"It's believed his mother chewed his two rear paws off when he was a young pup," he continued.

"I opted to help Panda get prosthetics as he was able to use his rear limbs.

"I didn't want to confine him to a wheelie as he was able to walk on his two front paws and two rear nubs.

"Overtime, without prosthetics, Panda would end up with back issues and other ailments.

"All he wanted to do was to just dream of running.

"The moment when Panda was able to run on all four legs was the happiest moment in my life."
