Congress, BJP spar over net neutrality in Lok Sabha

Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday accused the Modi government of trying to give away the internet space to corporates. Speaking in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi said that over one million people are fighting for net neutrality on Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms. Replying to Rahul Gandhi's charges, telecom minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said that the government was not under any pressure. Prasad also said that aim of the government was to move towards mobile governance.
