Amit Shah to address party workers at Amritsar

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Amit Shah will on Saturday address party workers at Amritsar. The number of people evacuated from Nepal by the Indian Air Force reached 3,358 as another flight carrying the evacuees landed in India on Friday, the defence ministry said. Arun Shourie on Friday hit out at the Narendra Modi government, saying its economic policy was “directionless” while the social climate was causing “great anxiety” among the minorities. Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal is now planned a rebate scheme on old bills. The rebate scheme will, however, be only for the poor.
