Former Odisha CM Giridhar Gamang resigns from Congress
  • 7 years ago
Giridhar Gamang, one of the country’s best known tribal leaders and a former chief minister of Odisha and congress leader for 43 yrs, resigned from the party citing “humiliation” and “loss of self-respect”. Speculations are that he might join bjp in view of his recent meeting with Union tribal affairs minister Jual Oram, who also belongs to Odisha.
