Maggi banned in Delhi, ordered to be removed from govt. stores

Lab reports of Maggi samples in New Delhi have shown them to be unsafe, the AAP government in New Delhi has said, adding that strict action will be taken based on the report and a complaint has been filed against manufacturer Nestle India. A Delhi government press release on Tuesday stated that their test showed, that of a total of 13 samples, 10 masala samples were found to be unsafe having lead exceeding the prescribed limits. The prescribed limit of lead is 2.5 ppm. The national capital is not the only place where Maggi has landed in a soup for being unsafe.
